Joutarou Kuujou arrived in Morioh in 1999 with two objectives: to meet his illegitimate uncle Jousuke Higashikata and investigate a potential threat from a Stand user. Shortly after his arrival, Joutarou achieves his first objective but is surprised to discover that Jousuke is a high school student with his own Stand named Crazy Diamond. However, their initial meeting is cut short when they uncover a more pressing issue: a supernatural bow and arrow is being used to create dangerous Stand users in Morioh. Jousuke recognizes the severity of the danger and vows to protect his hometown and halt the spread of dangerous Stand users. During their journey, Jousuke uncovers allies and foes, realizing that personal interests and objectives reflect the virtues and vices of an individual's Stand. As the investigation unfolds, they uncover the hidden dangers and a mystery from Morioh's past.
