Side story in Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu
This manga is quite old--it's from 1957. It centers around three members of the table tennis club at an all-girl school. Though it may not quite be yuri, it's a precursor to current yuri manga.
Why did star player Shimada decide to attend a high school that isn’t known at all for its volleyball? During the final middle school volleyball competition, he performed spectacularly. However, Fujii has held a grudge ever since and absolutely hates Shimada.

The second story of the 5 short stories in the volume work Kakattekinasai! Iida is one of the best basketball players. He even has his own cheering section. Tsubaki finds herself staring at him while she practices her shoots. But her team is not even good. And if they don't find a way to win the next basketball game, their team might get canceled!
All begins when Soga Naoaki went to complain to the president of the student counsil, Yoshizumi Sekai, about the reducing of his volleyball team's bookings. By coincidence, Naoaki becomes the vice-president of the student counsil because of the health of the current one. He and Sekai don't get along, but what happens when they have to organise the school festival?
