The man known as “Zero” is an expert on antiquities, archaeology, art, and other types of artifacts. Specifically, he is an expert on rooting out their histories and discovering any extra-special qualities they might have – curses and so on – and then gets rid of them, and he will search the world to find the answers he seeks for his clients. He charges whatever fee he feels is appropriate; it might be a million dollars, and it might be just one.
The story starts with a mysterious murder and will uncover the greatest secret hidden in the whole universe step by step – from horrendous conspiracies to galactic wars; and from anti-human betrayal to great sacrifice. Humans have never understood how backward and weak they are, but they'll still make a final fight for their own destiny.
The story centers on Su Bai, who utilizes the "Clock of All Things" to strengthen his skills and cultivate equipment, continuously breaking records in a global player-versus-player tower-climbing competition. The plot encompasses professional advancement, contention for "first kills," and inter-species warfare. By clearing the dungeons on each floor of the tower, he builds his power system and unveils the world's setting, where the "Tower of G**" connects a myriad of realms. The protagonist gradually unlocks abilities such as the power of time and necromancy, driving forward the main storyline of the Blue Star (Earth) human race's struggle for survival against higher-level civilizations.

Everyone decides that they will together try to solve the mysterious murders by exploring the hidden world of Mayonaka TV. After the closing events of Persona 3 on January 31, 2010, Persona 4 starts April 11, 2011, Putting the start of Persona 4 fourteen months after the end of Persona 3, this is also evident by the appearance of an older Chihiro, who is now a 3rd year student.
