The Summer Swallowed by Darkness

Read manhwa The Summer Swallowed by Darkness After her grandmother passes away, Na Suhyeon wraps up her city life and returns to her hometown. Suhyun, as if drawn by something, climbs Mount Obong, a place her grandmother, while alive, had strictly forbidden her from ever ascending. Lost in the mountains and caught in a perilous situation due to bizarre occurrences, Suhyeon is aided by a man named Moonjoo, who appears unharmed even after being decapitated… Moonjoo claims that Suhyeon is the reincarnation of Shaman Kang Yuhwa, his spiritual mother from the past, and asserts that the strange events unfolding before her are a result of her climbing Mount Obong. Though deeply suspicious of Moonjoo, Suhyeon feels a sense of responsibility after directly confronting spirits that have stolen shamanic tools buried in Kang Yuhwa’s grave and are now running rampant with newfound power. Moonjoo speculates that the “evil spirit” that led Kang Yuhwa to her death sensed Suhyeon’s energy and desecrated her grave. Ultimately, Suhyun resolves to join Moonjoo, to understand the voices of the spirits, and to retrieve the five shamanic tools… Can the two of them truly banish the evil spirit, and can Moonjoo finally break his curse of immortality? Devious Miss Crimson

Upon a kingdom ravaged by war, descended a Dragon promising triumph and life eternal - a proposal accepted, a proposal respected, but one that would come at a severe price for the inhabitants. Now the kingdom is in ruins. How come? It\'s for amnesiacs \'Missy\' and Jess to find out. ______________ Devious Miss Crimson is a short story by RedbowCR (Crimson Ribbon: Summer Rain) aiming to provide a concise but complete narrative for the reader. My second ever manga made as I gear up to tackle my next projects, I hope you will enjoy what this fun little story can provide to you, let\'s look forward to the future.

Osorochi

This story was first published in August 1969 issue of COM. It’s the fifth story in the Nagatani Kunio’s parody theater series, which was later compiled in Bakashiki-Nagatani Kunio’s Collection of Plagiarized Works (バカ式: 長谷邦夫盗作全集, Akebono, 1970). The title, “Osorochi” (おそろち), is a play on the words “orochi” (おろち), another work by Umezu, and “osoroshii” (恐ろしい), which means “dreadful, scary.” The pun is kept throughout the story every time the word “dreadful” is used. Umezu Kazuo’s name is also written with different kanji. While his name is spelled “楳図かずお”, here, Nagatani & Fujio Pro use 梅図まずお (Umezu Mazuo) as their penname. The joke is that the kanji for “plum” (梅), which also reads as “ka” is used in his family name, and his given name was turned into “mazuo,” which is a pun on “mazui” (まずい), i.e. something that sucks.

Please leave, Meisen-san

In a society where people with monster dominate, high school student Makoto Tatara has a friend in this unusual world. Her name is Toko Meisen. Having a beautiful girl as a friend might make any guy envious... but there’s a twist—she is a ghost, a spirit-like existence! Their bond is one of \"Soul-mates\" (friends who share life energy). To make things even more chaotic, her sense of personal boundaries is completely broken, leading her to naturally do some rather suggestive things! Can Tatara maintain his friendship with Meisen, or will things take an unexpected turn? Note: Depending on audience feedback, this might turn into a full series!
