Rintarou Noe, a clumsy high schooler, struggles with his tutor, Kaede Sumizome, and the unfamiliar feelings that arise when they are in close proximity. In an attempt to rid himself of this discomfort, Rintarou makes the decision to intentionally fail his exams. Unfortunately, Kaede sees through his scheme and calls him out on it. Rintarou then fibs, pretending that he failed due to boredom from being stuck indoors. Kaede doesn't take kindly to Rintarou's dishonesty and punishes him accordingly. This punishment will undoubtedly affect the tenuous relationship between the two. Included in this volume is the one-shot, Yuuutsu Trickster, which spans two chapters.
