In an ordinary lounge, a man with blond hair is engrossed in a game of pool, completely oblivious to the chaos that awaits him. Suddenly, he is struck on the head with a glass bottle and loses consciousness after hearing someone call out "Spinoza!" When he regains consciousness, he is in the middle of a rocky valley, trying his luck at fishing. Within moments, he reels in a giant fish that swallows him whole. When he wakes up yet again, he is on the ground of a boxing ring, surrounded by a packed audience, about to fight as a contestant. The man finds himself constantly transported to unpredictable locations, each time becoming embroiled in a new form of conflict.
