A comic prequel, co-written by Matthew Schwartz and Megas XLR co-creator George Krstic, entitled FusionFall: Worlds Collide!!, was passed out during Comic Con '07. Due to the overwhelming success of the comic, George Krstic is in talks to write a script for a FusionFall feature based on the comic to accompany the game's launch. It covers the events leading up to the start of the game.
From Stiletto Heels: Benzo and Soji witnessed the death of Tatsugoro, leader of the Akame Gang. Tatsugoro's last words to them were "I'm leaving you two in charge", but it was Jinzaburo, the former leader's friend, who was chosen instead. Displeased with Tatsugoro's wife's decision, the two left the gang. They then set off on an aimless journey, vowing to accomplish something big.

Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro couldn't be more different.
